We offer an English religious experience for 3 - 5 year old children on Sunday mornings during the 9:30 am mass (September - April). For more information and to obtain registration forms for the St. Augustine Preschool Program, please call (310) 836-6561.

The Elementary Religion Program is in need of Catechetical Leaders for our Saturday (Spanish) and English Sunday morning and English Tuesday afternoon classes. All Catechetical Leaders must be fingerprinted and complete the VIRTUS-Safeguard the Children program in order to volunteer at the parish. For more information about being involved in this worthwhile ministry, please contact Terri Palmer in the RE office.

Registration for all RE and RCIA-Children & Teens programs: Aug 2 - Sep 13, 2009. Fees: First Year and Continued RE: $80/1 child, $150/2 children in a family, $170/3+ children in a family. An additional $5 discount is given to each registered family, please provide your envelope number when registering. Also, please provide a copy of your child's baptismal certificate. RE Classes begin: Spanish: Saturday, September 26, 2009 - 9am - 10:30am, English RE: Sunday, September 27, 2009, 8:00 am - 9:15 am, RCIA-Children & Teens and St. Augustine Preschool Program, Sunday, September 27, 2009: 9:30 am English RE: Tuesday, September 29, 2009, 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm.

Inquiry Sessions will begin on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the Parish Center. Do you know someone who is interested in becoming Catholic? Or do you know a baptized Catholic who wants to receive the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation? If so, we are beginning an inquiry session on Sept. 2, 2009. We meet every Wednesday evening (except the last Wednesday of the month) from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm in the Parish Center.
